Eircom Young Entrepreneur

Logo design for the Eircom-sponsored Young Entrepreneur competition on behalf on Advantage NI. This was conceived to incorporate and remain sympathetic to, the existing Eircom brand, while giving prominence to the sponsor and yet reflect a bold, modern, dynamic feel.

Eircom wanted something that was corporate, integrated with the Eircom brand, yet still said innovation. Colours were restricted to the existing Eircom palette, and the Young Entrepreneur elements were designed so as not to overpower the Eircom branding. It was essential to transmit that this was very much an Eircom programme. Previous to the introduction of this logo, the Young Entrepreneurs program branding had been changed on a yearly basis. Since this logo was introduced, it has remained the branding for the program with the minor addition of the year of the event. The branding was subsequently rolled out across various event-related materials such as display graphics and print materials.

Stephen has worked with Advantage NI over several years, initially as a partner in his previous company Pink Inc and now with Graphicsgarage, providing design and branding both for Advantage NI themselves and for several of their business start up initiatives aimed mainly at young people. This included Advantage NI’s Business Bootcamp and Big Idea programmes, Shell Livewire and most recently the IGNITE programme and branding for the Eircom-sponsored Young Entrepreneur of the Year Competition, and has included everything from stationery, leaflets and stand alone leaflet holders, posters, certificates, banner, pop-up and exhibition stands, invites, programmes, promotional items, 48 sheet and press advertising.  www.advantage-ni.com.
