Qualitrol Web Icons
A series of logos/webicons for the engineering company Qualitrol LLC, a major international engineering company which manufactures, supplies and maintains components for electrical power grids. Each digitally hand-rendered icon was ostensibly designed to delineate various product and service sectors that the company is involved with. The red backgrounds both link the icon to the corporate colours of the company and serve to unite each as part of a larger family. Used in corporate literature, advertising and on the web, over time each symbol will become synonymous with the service or product it represents.
Graphicsgarage has also been involved in the creation of corporate literature and print advertising for this international company, transforming their previous somewhat staid design language to something more dynamic and progressive. Recent ad campaigns have appeared in US national trade publications. As an ongoing process, we have been asked to translate and develop the updated design style into online advertising as part of an expansive new website redesign, aswell as the graphical look and feel of a new on-line management e-learning facility.
